Dieting myths ... Busted: skinny Genes?

If you think your genes determine weight and there is no way to change it, think again.

While genes play a role (for example, the transfer of your MOM's body type), for most people, the most important factor when it comes to weight is how many calories you consume and how much exercise you get on a regular basis.

Even if your parents are large, there are things you can do to avoid the same fate: plenty of activity and training power it can both help you increase your metabolism and build muscles and more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn even when you are actively making it easier to stay slim whatever family weight!
